Our Policies

For the booking of all our services, it is imperative that each client understands our policies prior to scheduling an appointment. Please take your time in reviewing the following information.


BOOKING FEES (DEPOSITS)
For all appointments, a non-refundable booking fee is required in order to secure your visit. This amount, which varies depending on the procedure, will be charged to your provided card immediately upon booking. Your remaining balance will be due at the time of your appointment. No exceptions.

LATE ARRIVALS
Please familiarize yourself with our location and factor in time for San Francisco traffic and parking. Out of respect for everyone's time we have a strict no-tolerance policy for late arrivals. If you are over 15 minutes late, you will be considered a no-show and your deposit will be forfeit.

RESCHEDULING
We require at least 72 hours' (3 days) notice for all appointments needing to be rescheduled. Booking fees for no-shows, cancellations, and short-notice reschedules (within 72-hour window) are considered forfeit and will not be applied towards any future appointment.

GUESTS/PETS
Additional guests and pets will not be accommodated due to liability and pathogen exposure purposes. An exception may be made in the event a client needs translation assistance, however the translator will need to wait in the reception area during the procedure. Service animals are welcome (Note: Emotional Support/Comfort Animals are not recognized as Service Animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act).

TOUCH-UPS
Healed results will vary with each individual client and unfortunately, we have no control over what occurs during the healing period. A minimum of two sessions is typically required and in some cases, more, to achieve the best outcome. Each visit incurs its respective fee - touch-ups are not included in the initial procedure fee. We always give our best efforts to provide quality service, however there are many factors that may affect your results. In order for your new brows, eyeliner, or lips to heal properly (and look their very best), please READ and FOLLOW all Pre-Procedure and Aftercare Instructions. These are designed to ensure you are in the best condition to receive and heal well from PMU services.

PRICING POLICY
Procedure pricing is subject to change at artists' discretion. Any pricing updates will not affect pre-existing appointments.

WAIT LIST
In order to be placed on our wait list, you must have an active appointment scheduled.

DISQUALIFICATIONS LIST

Please review our DISQUALIFICATIONS LIST below before booking.
If you schedule your appointment and have one of the conditions listed below, we will refuse service and you will lose your deposit.

THOSE WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PERMANENT MAKE UP:
- Under the age of 18 (even with parental consent)
- Autoimmune diseases
- HIV, Hepatitis, or any other transmittable blood disease
- Blood disorders
- Prone to keloids
- Allergies to Lidocaine or Epinephrine
- Have had Botox within 1 month (on procedure area)
- Diabetic (insulin-dependent/requires medical clearance)
- Eczema
- Pregnant / Nursing
- Rosacea
- Melasma
- Undergoing/scheduled for chemo
- Hemophilia
- Epilepsy
- Blood thinner medication
- People with allergies to makeup
- Those with easily triggered post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation are not good candidates
- Accutane use in the past year
- People who have/had allergic reactions
- Sunburn/ Suntan

THOSE WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR MICRO NEEDLING:
- Eczema
- Pregnant / Nursing
- Rosacea
- Raised moles or skin tags
- Active acne
- Psoriasis
- Open wound
- Solar keratosis
- Scleroderma
- Accutane use in the past year
- Sick (cold, flu, etc.)
- Sunburn/ Suntan on face
- Allergies to Lidocaine or Epinephrine
- Collagen vascular disease
- Fungal infection
- Hypertrophic or Keloidal Scars
- Blood Disorders (Sickle Cell Anemia, Hemophilia)
- Transmittable Blood Diseases such as HIV or Hepatitis B/C
- Diabetes
- Lupus
- Active Vitiligo
- Steroids (must be off for 6 months)
- Retinol / Retin-A (must be discontinued 7 days prior to procedure)
- Recent Injections in the past 2 months ( Botox, Radiesse, Juvederm, etc.)
- Alcoholism
- Vertigo, Fainting Spells, or Chronic Dizziness

REFUSAL OF SERVICE
Edge Brows reserves the legal right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason except discrimination.
