Brows

Are you certified?

Yes, I am a Certified Permanent Makeup Artist, I have been certified by 10 masters and continue to achieve more certifications bi-yearly.

What other services do you offer?

I offer Ombré Brows, Microblading, Eyeliner, Lip Brush, and Training Services.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a procedure done with a hand held tool that applies pigment in the upper layer of dermis, mimicking hair like strokes.. Clients who want a hairlike natural effect usually opt for this procedure. Good Candidates for Microblading are people with dry skin types. People with sensitive skin, large pores and heavily oily skin should avoid this service.

What are Ombré Powder Brows?

Ombre AKA shading/powder/microshading, is another technique, using a stippling technique to push the blade directly against the skin. The result is a soft, fuller, powdered eyebrow giving a subtle effect. This procedure produces wake up and go results and is great for all skin types.

What are Edge Combo Brows?

This technique combines the microblading method to create hair like strokes with the shading method for more density. With Edge Combo Brows the head of the brows are feathered with hair like strokes while the tails are powdered for that perfect definition- this is considered the ultimate brow treatment.

Do I need a touch-up?

Yes touch ups should be done 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment. Color may fade as much as 30%-40% within the first 4 weeks of the initial procedure. The touchup procedure usually takes less time than the initial procedure.

How long does it take to heal?

Healing time is different for every client. Usually it takes about 7-10 days for the epithelial crust to form and flake off. ( In cases where clients heal slower, it may take up to 15 days to heal). The pigment will then take some time to settle into the skin, a good month should pass before the procedure is considered complete.

What is the process like?

The consent form is emailed to you and should be returned before you arrive to your appointment. When you arrive please address any questions to me. A before photo must be taken of your existing brows. I will precisely shape and design according to your bone structure. I will create your design based on my expertise and experience on what suits you aesthetically. Once you are satisfied with the shape I will have you initial your “let’s move on card” to start the procedure. After the procedure is finished, I will explain the aftercare instructions to you.

Is it possible for my skin not to retain the pigment?

Yes it is possible! In some cases a third appointment is often set up so the artist can see what is going on with the skin and see if a different technique can be used. The skin may react in a way to push out the pigment by producing an extreme scab, which will eventually fall off taking the pigment along with it. In some cases pigment allergy or Paraphenylenediamine or any Autoimmune Disease can cause an adverse reaction towards the pigment. The skin may become extremely sensitive to the pigment and reject it as well.

What is the procedure if I had previous work done before or want to change the shape?

Every coverup and correction is different. 1) We require picture of your previous work before an appointment is booked.
2) Please text us a picture without any makeup on or photoshop filters.
3) Please use the back of your phone, the reason is because the camera on the back will produce a higher resolution picture, and allows us to zoom in and examine the situation.
4) We will let you know if we can work on you or if you have to wait for your old pigment to fade. Cover Ups or corrections can be very complicated, very time consuming and perfect results CANNOT be guaranteed. Contributing factors such as remaining pigment, scarring from the previous artist must be taken into consideration. On average coverups or corrections usually require two or three sessions as well as more time than working on virgin brows. Patience, understanding and dedication by the client is important to achieve the best results. The cost and number of sessions can not be predetermined. If you book an appointment without disclosing previous cosmetic tattoo work, your deposit will be forfeited and your appointment will be cancelled.

Can you guarantee your work to create perfectly even brows?

Unfortunately no one is able to create perfectly symmetrical brows, there are many factors such as bone structure, scarring, age, natural facial symmetry, and facial muscles that will make it impossible to create perfectly even brows. We use or expertise and experience to provide the best design and try to get them as even as possible but we CAN NOT guarantee them to be perfectly even and symmetrical.

What if I don’t like it?

Semi permanent makeup will fade over time, in some cases quickly and sometimes slowly. We will never start the procedure until you ok and initial your “let’s proceed form.” If you are unhappy with your original decision, the touch up may be cancelled and the pigmented area will naturally fade away over time. If you are not 100% sure you would benefit from this procedure, please use your own judgement and look for a more temporary option.

I have an idea or picture of the type of brows I want can you replicate it on me?

Some clients fall in love with brows they see on an ad or social media picture. Unfortunately movie stars or models you see on media have different bone structures as yourself and putting their brows on you DOES NOT mean you will look like them. We shape brows according to bone structure, we reserve the right to refuse service to these types of requests.

Eyeliner

What is Eyeliner?

This Technique is done by applying pigment to the skin for a durable makeup effect without actually putting makeup on. You choose the shape, color and style of the eyeliner depending on your own personal style. The benefit of this besides wake up and go is that it is smudge proof and waterproof.
